Ticket Taker LeadAbout the RoleWe're hiring a Ticket Taker Lead to oversee ticket taker operations during live events. This person will lead the onsite team, manage guest entry, and ensure ticket scanning is accurate and efficient from doors open through the event.What You'll DoSupervise and direct Ticket Taker staff during setup, guest entry, and eventsConduct pre-event briefings and assign staff positionsConfirm employees are present, properly uniformed, and ready before doors openOversee early setup, including program inserts and portal entry areasMonitor ticket scanning and guest flow during busy entry periodsReposition staff as needed to keep lines moving efficientlyResolve ticket discrepancies, invalid credentials, and guest access concernsCoordinate with the House Manager regarding entry delays, equipment issues, or other concernsDocument and report incidents, access issues, and operational concernsConfirm staff attendance with the Program Manager following eventsWhat We're Looking ForMust be 18 years or olderAt least 1 year of ticket scanning, venue entry, or access control experience requiredStrong leadership, communication, and guest service skillsComfortable working in busy, high-energy crowd environmentsEnglish-speaking required; bilingual candidates preferredAble to stand, walk, and navigate stairs, ramps, or inclines for extended periodsAvailable for an event-based schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust pass a client-required background checkPreferred ExperiencePerforming arts, arena, convention center, or similar venue experienceExperience with digital ticketing platforms and handheld ticket scannersExperience leading teams of 5 or moreExperience training, onboarding, or transitioning new event staffBilingual English/Spanish or another language is a plus If you have ticketing experience, know how to lead a team, and can keep guest entry running smoothly during busy events, apply today!
