Job description

Our client, the religious and cultural sector, is seeking a Customer Service Ticket Scanner.. As a Customer Service Ticket Scanner, you will be part of the event support team supporting religious and community events. The ideal candidate will have attentiveness, reliability, and good communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Ticket Scanner

Location: Katonah, NY

Pay Range: $18.00/hr.
NEW HOURS
9/11 4- 6pm (+ hours required) 
9/12 8:45-11:45am (+ hours required)
9/20 7:15pm -9:45pm (+ hours required)
9/21 8:30am - 11:45am (+hours required)

 OLD -Schedule:
Friday, 9/11- 4:00pm-7:30pm         
Saturday, 9/12- 8:30am-12:30pm  
Sunday, 9/20- 730pm-1030pm      
Monday, 9/21- 8:30am-12:30pm  

 

What's the Job?

  • Assist at entry points during religious events by scanning e-tickets using Android tablets or iPads
  • Verify attendee identities by comparing IDs with ticket information quickly and accurately
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor while managing attendee flow
  • Stand for 2-4 hours during shifts, with breaks and chairs available during slow periods
  • Ensure smooth and efficient entry processes to enhance attendee experience

  • Ability to read and speak English fluently
  • Good vision to quickly review tickets and IDs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods with occasional breaks
