Employers may use this arrangement to cover peak periods or supplement existing staff. The specific days worked can vary based on business needs and employee agreements.

Job description

A Career Built Around the Kids and a Clinician Who Knows Them Best!

The best speech therapy doesn't always happen in one place. Sometimes a child needs support in the classroom where the real challenges show up every day. Sometimes they need the focused, one-on-one environment of a clinic session. Often times they need both, a therapist who can follow them into either world.

At Milestone Therapy, we built our model around reality. Our SLPs aren't locked into one setting because our kids aren't locked into one setting. School-based, clinic-based, or a meaningful blend of both, your caseload is shaped by what your clients actually need, and supported by a team that has your back in every environment.

What does that mean for you? It means four days of meaningful work, and three days to recharge, refocus, and show up as the best version of yourself for every kid on your caseload.

Our 4x10 schedule gives you full-time impact without the five-day grind. More hours in the room with kids. More time outside of it for yourself!

You get to practice the way great speech therapy is supposed to work, with continuity, with context, and with the flexibility to meet each child exactly where they are. No more choosing between the setting you love and the kids who need you. At Milestone, you get both!

If you're an SLP who wants to do real, meaningful work across the full scope of a child's world, in a schedule that actually respects your life, we want to meet you!

We even have a $5,000 sign-on bonus on the table, because this opportunity should feel like an easy yes.

Why Milestone Therapy?

  • Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment - We Collaborate! Expect to be part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team that puts kids first.

  • Opportunities for mentorship and professional growth - We want you to be the best you can be by offering a variety of mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
  • A culture centered around teamwork, passion, and therapist success - Your teammates are passionate, caring, and want to succeed alongside you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech therapy services in a clinic setting.
  • Support client progress through creative and engaging treatment approaches.
  • Supervise CFY providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve client outcomes holistically.
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
What You Bring:
  • Active Illinois Speech Therapy License
  • 1โ€“2 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A love and passion for working with the pediatric population
  • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
  • A deep commitment to helping children unlock their life's potential
  • Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Illinois Professional Education License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement through ISBE (or willing to obtain)
Benefits amp; Perks:
  • 6 Paid Holidays + Generous PTO package
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Contribution
  • $500 Annual Continuing Education Reimbursement
  • $650 Annual Technology Stipend
  • $260 Annual Wellness Allowance
  • License reimbursement, and much, much more!
Whether you are passionate about schools, clinics, or both, we want to help build a role you genuinely love! Apply to learn more about our flexible opportunities!
