Iron Heart Coffee Co. and Eatery is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional customer service and making high-quality beverages. Our staff forms the backbone of the customer experience at Three Brothers Wineries & Estates, War Horse Brewing Co., and Iron Heart Coffee Co. and Eatery. Our company mission is to make each of our guests' special day more special by providing exceptional customer service and a unique experience, and we have fun while doing it!
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting customers with a positive attitude and taking their food and beverage orders.
  • Preparing a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and dining room.
  • Assisting with restocking supplies and managing inventory.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and helping to resolve any issues or complaints to the best of your ability.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and other team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Complete duties from opening and closing checklists.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and management.
  • Take initiative to work independently, as well as, the ability to work well within a team environment.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a barista and cashier is preferred but not required; we offer training.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset.
  • Must have a friendly personality and converse with a wide array of customers.
  • Must be able to make change accurately.
  • 18+ years of age (due to selling alcoholic beverages at cafe).
  • Must be available to work most weekends and holidays.
