Job description

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities at our Wendy's locations are in optimal working condition to provide our customers with a consistently outstanding dining experience. This includes routine and preventative maintenance of all HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. HVAC Maintenance and Repair
  2. Conduct regular inspections of the HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, cleaning ducts, and checking system pressures.
  4. Diagnose and resolve any HVAC system malfunctions.
  5. Refrigeration Maintenance and Repair
  6. Ensure all refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers and freezers, are operating at the correct temperatures and are well-maintained.
  7. Conduct routine checks on refrigeration systems to detect leaks, ensure proper coolant levels, and maintain equipment to prevent failures.
  8. Address any system malfunctions in a timely manner.
  9. Preventive Maintenance
  10. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment and systems.
  11. Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  12. Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  13. General Maintenance Duties
  14. Address minor electrical, plumbing, and structural issues within the establishment.
  15. Collaborate with management and staff to address any equipment concerns or operational challenges.
