About the Role

As an Engineering Manager atValPay, you willbe responsible forleading a team of engineers, driving execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives across our payments platform.You'lloperateat the intersection ofpeopleleadership, technical strategy, and delivery, partnering closely with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

While this roleremainstechnically informed, the primary focus is onteam leadership, execution, and impact at scale, rather than day-to-day coding.

Delivery & Execution

AI & Engineering Productivity

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with3+ years in an engineering management or team leadership role
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong understanding ofsystem design, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ability to balance technical depth with strong people leadership and delivery focus
