Job description

Purpose of this job:

The Merchandising Specialist is primarily responsible for restocking shelves and cold boxes with Red Bull products in grocery and mass accounts. This includes ensuring products are properly rotated, front-facing, and merchandised to company standards for maximum visibility and availability. Working closely with the presell and delivery teams, this role helps build strong relationships with store personnel to provide exceptional customer service. As the merchandising lead for assigned accounts, the Merchandising Specialist also trains and supports third-party merchandisers operating in the same locations to ensure consistent execution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure shelves, cold boxes and other points of distribution are fully stocked with the correct Red Bull products, properly rotated, and front-faced to company standards.
  • Maintain adequate backstock levels while complying with store-specific inventory policies and procedures.
  • Deliver and install cold equipment as directed by management, ensuring proper setup and placement for the greatest in-store presence.
  • Submit task completion surveys with clear before-and-after photos to verify execution and maintain accountability.
  • Build strong relationships with store personnel, including receivers, department managers, and store leadership, to ensure high levels of service and execution.
  • Collaborate with and support third-party merchandisers (e.g., Trax) working in assigned stores to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new Merchandising Specialists and third-party merchandisers, focusing on store protocols, task execution, and brand expectations.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency, dependability, and commitment to excellence in every store visit.
  • Keep all equipment clean, operational, and aligned with Red Bull’s appearance standards.
  • Represent and protect the Red Bull brand through professionalism, consistency, and pride in execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Current driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead multiple times daily.
  • Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently.
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid DOT.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.
  • Preferred prior sales experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation in good working condition and be willing to use it daily for business-related travel (reimbursements provided according to IRS Current Standard Rate).
