As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you will:
Job Description
Day to Day Responsibilities

  • The technician is responsible for performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment (see below) and works closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks.
  • Work closely with peers, supervisor, and engineering team to deeply understand root cause failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals.
  • Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives and may be required to attend classes, seminars, and vendor training if required.
  • Required to document all work performed on equipment.
  • Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities.
  • This is a factory position and requires wearing cleanroom attire and working in a cleanroom environment.
  • You may be required to wear PPE and be exposed to hazardous processing materials.

This is a Full Time, Direct hire opportunity.
Shift: Compressed shift (Day (D2): Thur, Fri, Sat, and alternate Wednesdays, 6:30am - 6:30pm)

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military training required. Rare exceptions for very experienced industry technicians.
  • 3 or more years' experience in high volume semiconductor environment performing maintenance on AT LEAST ONE of the tools listed below.
  • Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods.
  • Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Must have solid workplace soft skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable navigating and operating computers.
  • Basic familiarity with MS Office programs is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Hands-on participation and strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced, high volume production environment.

Specific Required Experience
  • We are looking for candidates with experience and strong skills in at least one of the tool families listed below:
  • Thin Films CVD Equipment including Novellus Concept Two (C-2) and/or Mattson Aspen II and/or SPTS fxP Delta. Senior experience with any modern CVD platform will be considered.
  • Thin Films IMPLANT Equipment including Varian and/or Axcelis Implanters, preferably experience with Axcelis 8200 and/or GSD AMAT/Varian E-500. Senior experience with comparable implanters will be considered.
  • Thin Films Sputter Deposition (PVD Equipment), including Trikon Sigma 200 and/or Aviza/SPTS fxP Sigma and/or AMAT Endura experience. Senior experience with comparable sputter tools will be considered.
  • Etch HDP including Aviza/SPTS fxP Sigma. Experience in any modern HDP cluster tool (AMAT, etc) will be considered.
  • Strong RF Troubleshooting experience is highly desired.
  • Experience conducting technical training is highly desired. The candidate will be expected to train others.

Pay Rate: $80 k - $87 k per year
