Indotronix is seeking an :Environmental Stress Screening Test Technician, Austin, TX
 
Shift: 5th/8th (Fri-Sun), typically 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Work Schedule: 3/12
High School diploma or equivalen
 
Position Description:
Performs operational tests on complex electronic production components, and subassemblies. Assists higher classified technicians in the performance of more complex tests. Candidate will work a Mon-Thurs 4/10 schedule temporarily to complete training and certification for position before moving to Fri-Sun 3/12 schedule.    
 
Skills Required    
The candidate will support the Engineering and Production groups with the set up and operation of equipment such as Vibration Systems and Thermal Cycling in order to perform moderate to highly complex environmental tests regarding temperature and various types of vibration. • Sets up and uses the following monitoring and control equipment and instrumentation: - Temperature - Thermocouples, data loggers - Vibration controls, accelerometer systems - Pressure and air flow instrumentation - A wide variety of test and measurement systems/equipment ranging from complex automated test equipment stands to individual test instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers and other electronic instrumentation. • Conducts simulated environmental tests by following standard test methods and procedures. Work with engineering procedures/instructions and/or verbal instructions. 
Processes and compiles product data in complete data packages, including quality information and defect recording. 
Maintains test logbooks with pertinent test information 
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
    
Skills Preferred;    
Experience with RF testing is a plus.
    
Experience Required
Direct experience working on Unholtz Dickie or similar Vibration systems supporting Engineering Qualification efforts. • Vibration Profile development experience • Thermotron Temperature Chambers • Basic Computer skills in a MS Windows environment • Must be a self-starter and able to work well both solo and in a team environment • High School diploma or equivalent
