Job description

1. Effectively lead the Maintenance team to provide maintenance services that enable operations and other departments to meet business expectations in cost, quality, compliance, safety, culture and growth.

2. Develop strong interdepartmental relationships, and works effectively on cross functional teams

3. Plan, organize, and direct the company maintenance management program. Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance goals and objectives.

4. Developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all plant equipment and the facility, which includes the development of a work order program

5. Develop staff and build a high-performance team through utilization of a performance management process that sets expectations, ensures ongoing coaching/mentoring and assesses employee performance. Build a team culture committed to high performance and hold others accountable for the results expected.

6. Establish priorities, allocate resources and develop action plans to drive improvement.

7. Utilize analytical, critical thinking and structured root cause analysis techniques for problem solving.

8. Build technical competencies within the maintenance team, identifying and selecting maintenance talent, and providing opportunities for knowledge acquisition and skills transfer within the team.

9. Instill a customer service mindset throughout the organization.

10. Provide leadership to team responsible for technical ownership, optimization of assets and maintaining qualified state throughout equipment lifecycle.

11. Sustain the flexibility and responsiveness of a workforce through effective leadership, teamwork and communications.

12. Identifies opportunities for training and development of Maintenance Technicians

13. Overall responsibility of maintaining the maintenance department in a clean, organized, safe manner

14. Other duties as assigned
