Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Well Therapeutics, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assuming full responsibility for managing patient cases, from initial assessment to the development of comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the physician and medical team.
  • Conducting detailed evaluations to assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional statuses, leading to informed care decisions that enhance the patient experience.
  • Providing direct therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education that adhere to best practice guidelines and the physicianโ€™s plan of care.
  • Instructing patients and their families in exercises and proper usage of therapeutic appliances and prosthetics to facilitate continued progress outside therapy sessions.
  • Prioritizing caseload effectively, determining daily staffing needs, and ensuring seamless coordination of care assignments and transitions between team members.
  • Documenting patient progress rigorously in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring all records are comprehensive and up-to-date.
  • Participating in continuous professional development by staying current with emerging trends in physical therapy and contributing to the improvement of clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, focusing on both adults and pediatrics who may be recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your empathetic approach and expertise will play a crucial role in their healing process, addressing their unique needs and goals to enhance their independence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • A current and valid Physical Therapy license to practice in New Jersey.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and families.
Preferred Experience
