Job description

Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being hands-on with equipment? At Leppo Rents, we’re looking for a Yard Specialist who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. This is an entry-level role where you’ll play a key part in our day-to-day operations—loading and unloading equipment, keeping our machines clean and “Rent Ready,” and making sure the yard is safe and organized.

If you like variety, teamwork, and the satisfaction of seeing the yard in top shape, this is the role for you!

Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (your evenings & weekends are free!)

What You’ll Do

  • Safely load and unload equipment and attachments for customers and others
  • Move equipment around the yard and to different departments as needed
  • Pressure wash and clean equipment so it’s ready for the next customer
  • Perform basic yard maintenance (organization, safety checks, keeping it clean)
  • Help with minor equipment prep such as greasing and topping off fluids
  • Greet and assist customers in the yard when needed
  • Support the rental, service, and parts teams with yard operations

What We’re Looking For

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physically able to handle lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
  • A safety-first mindset with integrity and reliability
  • Mechanically curious — interested in equipment and how it works
  • A team player who doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed

Why Join Leppo?

  • Competitive pay & quarterly/annual performance-based bonuses
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • PTO, holidays, parental leave & community time off
  • Paid training & career development – room to grow into technician or rental roles
  • Bi-annual apparel allowance & product/service discounts
  • Wellness incentive bonus & milestone celebrations
  • A family-like culture where you’re valued and supported

This role is more than just yard work — it’s a launching pad into a career in equipment rentals, service, or parts. Many of our technicians and specialists started right here in the yard.
