As a remote team member, you will experience the benefits of a flexible work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth model allows for delivery of services in a comfortable setting for both clients and therapists. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing from a distance while maintaining a strong sense of team spirit and collaboration. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery while promoting resilience and coping strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), facilitating trauma processing and healing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where clients are supported in processing trauma, exploring emotions, and learning coping techniques in a safe environment.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and physical wellness.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention to support clients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that they have immediate access to the help they need.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge to aid in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of treatment plans and therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care competencies.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest quality of care to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, veterans, individuals facing displacement, and others impacted by complex trauma. We believe in a holistic approach to care that acknowledges the multifaceted nature of trauma and its effects on mental health. By joining our team, you will directly impact the lives of these clients, helping them find their voice and reclaim their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when engaging with clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to enhance efficiency in service delivery.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse experiences and perspectives.
