Rayโ€™s on the River is an award-winning Atlanta institution, renowned for prime steaks, fresh seafood, fine wines, and gracious hospitality. Set against the backdrop of the Chattahoochee River, we are committed to delivering excellence on every plate and in every guest interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dish area to support a smooth-running kitchen and exceptional service.
  • Properly pre-soak, wash, and sanitize dishware and kitchen equipment, following all cleaning standards and correct chemical usage.
  • Use established opening and closing checklists to ensure the dish station is fully prepared for service and properly reset at the end of each shift.
  • Foster positive, respectful interactions with service staff and kitchen team members, contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with, and assist, fellow team members as needed to ensure seamless service throughout each shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
  • Experience with high-volume or quantity food preparation preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong cooking skills and follow established menus and recipes accurately.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
