We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic youth development professional that has experience and the desire to support the development of auxiliary programs for all Pike students with a focus on students in 5th - 8th grade.

The Auxiliary Program Manager is a 11 month position in partnership with the Director of Auxiliary Programs. This position will support planning, staffing, and executing a dynamic and engaging experience supporting student life at the Pike School. Primary duties will include logistical and administrative support for all auxiliary initiatives, helping to generate non-tuition revenue and strengthen Pikeโ€™s community engagement. Auxiliary programs' general scope of services include: afterschool enrichments, Pike Plus, IgniteED@Pike Days, support to divisional programs, rentals, and recess coverage as needed.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Support the Pike School Mission and Vision through the development and delivery of exemplary programs serving our PK - 8th grade students.
  • Developing strong partnerships with vendors, including vetting, onboarding, ongoing communication and evaluation.
  • Monitor health and safety protocols throughout auxiliary programs.
  • Act as a primary liaison for afterschool families providing clear and timely communication regarding afterschool programs.
  • Provide support as needed for behavioral concerns and operational challenges with professionalism and care throughout auxiliary programs.
  • Serve as the primary contact in the absence of the Director of Auxiliary Programs.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets, and Veracross (or a similar databases)

Personal Attributes:

  • Proven ability to lead others with successful delivery and evaluation of programs.
  • Demonstrated initiative and independence with effective organizational and problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm, patience and flexibility as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build a positive rapport with parents, students, faculty and staff while maintaining Pike community policies and procedures.

Community Expectations:

  • Provide a service-centered approach, prioritizing the growth and development of students and auxiliary personnel (faculty, staff, vendors).
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and respect for all viewpoints.

Preferred Start Date: August 23rd, 2026 (Summer Break mid July - mid August)

General Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 9:30 am - 5:45 pm (Occasional times outside these hours to support the Pike Community, ie special events)

Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years of leadership experience in youth development programming

Salary Hiring Range: $55,000 - 60,000 (11 month position) Salaried with Benefits

Reports to: Director of Auxiliary Programs
