This position is required to be on-site in Elk Grove, CA (No Relocation Available).
You will execute warehouse operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. You will also be responsible for activities such as inventory management (iDoc management, stock reconciliation), interfaces monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, third-party performance management, pallets management.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • The Supervisor, DSD Delivery is responsible for effectively driving execution against all core KPI's. Additional responsibilities: Being directly engaged with the delivery drivers - provide ongoing coaching, working with customers, and managing the standard work processes for IDSD Delivery Pillar, while optimizing service and ensuring cost management. The Supervisor, DSD Delivery will act as the Driver Methods Lead supporting the first level of DMS meeting in the field. Scheduling routes to Drivers and ensure compliant with HOS/DOT (breaks, hours, etc.)
  • KPIs: Driver Safety incidents/accidents, DUPH, OT%, Driver review and management of high-risk drivers across the branch.
  • Secondary KPIs: ePOD %, outbound reporting completion (LPN work), pre/post trip compliance, % HCC usage, OTD, indirect hours (non-productive), Driver Methods %.

Additional Responsibilities:
1.Manage day to day plans including order/route management, inventory management, employee performance, and daily communication with internal/external customers and stakeholders.
2.Drive key KPIs under main categories of (1) Safety, (2) Service, (3) Cost, and (4) People.
3.SAFETY: Responsible for driving plans that reduce branch incident/accident rates, ensuring a successful roadside inspection, holding monthly safety/SHAPE meetings, ensuring effective and compliant pre and post trips inspections, and conducting a successful branch safety audit.
4.SERVICE: Responsible for ensuring accurate order fills (Target TQA / Walmart ASN order accuracy reports), and route compliance and on time deliveries at the store level. Participates in cross functional meetings with Demand/Fulfillment Planning, Retail Teams, Customers Teams, and HQ Support including LPT meetings, District Sales meetings, and Retail X meetings.
5.COST: Driving lowest cost per case in delivery operations by executing against annual productivity plans, lean six sigma/BPE projects, maintaining the loss prevention network regarding waste and employee performance management. Identify supply chain opportunities and ensure issues are addressed in strategic and tactical plans.
6.PEOPLE: Source, onboard, and develop direct reports and branch teams in multiple settings (classroom, OJT, Work-with, etc..) across entire delivery operation (delivery, cross-dock). Coach direct reports in order to create and execute development plans and support individual career goals. Manage local hourly employees (Union and Non-Union) including coaching, developing and disciplining and developing relationship with local labor unions.
  • Coordinated hotel reservation for overnight drivers and processed related expenses including per diem submissions.
  • Led monthly engagement initiatives to foster an excellent atmosphere and work environment for the employees.
  • Led monthly branch safety meetings and submit reports to the regional safety manager.
  • Managed and distributed refusal data to the Pacific Mountain Region and the Northern California sales teams, delivering daily and weekly refusal reports.
  • Maintained daily branch manifest logs and Proof of Delivery (POD) records using Quick Base.
  • Assist with driver route assignment and distributed daily schedule to DSD and Shuttle drivers during Supervisor PTO coverage.
  • Scheduled weekly LTL freight shipment and managed carrier coordination and documentation.
  • Prepared and submitted monthly Absentee Tracker KPI Data.
  • Supports driver methods training
  • Branch support with critical questions

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
