Job description

Licensed Physician Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North OKC

Responsibilities
  • Provide acute and chronic patient care including patient histories
  • Perform pre and post operative patient care
  • Wound care and suturing
  • Monitor therapies
  • Prescribe appropriate medications
  • Order and interpret tests
  • Take patient calls as needed
  • Educate patients and families
  • Complete discharge summaries as requested by physician
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA license in State of Oklahoma required
  • NCCPA certified or eligible
  • One year in orthopedics is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Experience with Epic a plus
  • Strong computer skills
