Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated transplant pharmacist for this exciting opportunity within the MaineHealth Transplant Program in Portland, ME.
Our program is the only kidney transplant center in the state and serves a large, predominantly rural population across Maine. We are currently in an important phase of rebuilding and growth, with a strong focus on improving outcomes, modernizing workflows, and expanding access to transplant services.
This position offers a unique opportunity to:
  • Practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant team
  • Play an active role in optimizing immunosuppression and patient-specific care
  • Contribute to program development, protocol design, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Help shape the future direction of a growing transplant program

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about transplant care, values teamwork, and is excited about building and improving processes.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from a recognized/accredited school or college of pharmacy required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
  3. Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $122,408.00 to $165,630.40 per year.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
