POSITION SUMMARY

The Line Cook is a passionate and dedicated team member who takes pride in delivering high-quality food while upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes, supporting daily prep tasks, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked station throughout service. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and able to take direction while working independently in a kitchen environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Menu Prep and Execution

• Prep alongside team according to prep lists provided by leadership

• Prepare menu items from recipes in a timely manner for tickets throughout service

• Ensure knowledge of menu items and ingredients

• Stock and maintain designated stations as directed by leadership

• Collaborate with leadership and prepare order sheets as needed 

Health, Safety, and Service Standards

• Comply with all sanitation regulations and safety standards including proper storage, rotation of inventory, and quality control

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with ownership, coworkers, customers, and vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years of culinary experience

• Strong work ethic and integrity

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evening, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to communicate clearly in English both written and verbal

EDUCATION

High School Diploma / GED preferred. Degree or training in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or related field, or culinary certificate ideal.

PHYSICAL ABLITIES

• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed

• Continuous use of hands and arms

• Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting

• Maintains strong personal image and uniform standards

• Must be able to work at a high pace
