Job description

The Yankowitz Law Firm, P.C., an established and expanding Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Firm is seeking a motivated, ambitious, organized and detail oriented Paralegal for our Long Island office located in Great Neck, NY (on the border of Queens/Nassau County) to support our attorneys with day-to-day legal tasks. This role is critical to keeping cases on track, clients informed, and the office running efficiently.

This is an exceptional opportunity for candidate experienced in:

Drafting/Preparation (but not limited to)

  • Summons and Complaints;
  • Bills of Particulars;
  • Discovery Responses;
  • Discovery Demands;
  • Requests for Preliminary Conferences;
  • Note of Issues;
  • Expert Disclosures.

Corresponding and Communicating With (but not limited to):

  • Potential/Prospective New Clients - (obtaining and collecting necessary information and documents);
  • Established Clients - (Keep clients informed about the status of their cases, including upcoming court dates, depositions, and any significant developments) ;
  • Medical Providers - (Obtaining medical liens and providing case status updates);
  • Insurance Carriers.
