Responsibilities
  • Greet clients in person and over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and text messages, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, payments, and general insurance inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments for agents and producers.
  • Prepare, process, and organize insurance applications, renewals, endorsements, and other policy documents.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the agency management system.
  • Follow up with clients regarding missing information, policy renewals, and outstanding documents.
  • Assist with quoting personal and commercial insurance products.
  • Support licensed agents with administrative tasks and sales initiatives.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office filing systems.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Help ensure compliance with company and state insurance regulations.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, customer retention efforts, and community events when needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
  • Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
  • Alabama Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Insurance License preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn agency management software.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
