About the Role
As Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll own the strategy and execution that drives membership growth and revenue for The Front and Vertical Solutions. This is a full‑time, exempt, in‑person role based at our South Main location, with collaboration across teams and locations.
Pay:
  • $80,000–$85,000 salary OR
  • $70,000 base + commission (OTE ~$100,000)
You'll lead demand generation, guide the sales funnel, safeguard our brand voice, and turn insights into action-all while mentoring a junior designer and partnering closely with leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute an annual calendar of membership promotions, owning sales targets and reporting
  • Drive membership growth, retention, and program participation through smart sales strategy
  • Bring in new leads across digital, grassroots, partnerships, and referral channels-and move them through the pipeline
  • Build and optimize data‑driven marketing strategies across paid and organic channels
  • Create compelling content across video, photo, web, social, newsletters, and the Pebble app
  • Support marketing and content needs for Vertical Solutions and Proxy Climbing
  • Own paid advertising end‑to‑end (Meta, Google, geo‑targeted local campaigns)
  • Manage lifecycle and email marketing in Customer.io, including automation, testing, and reporting
  • Track performance metrics like conversion rate, CPA, growth, and churn to guide decisions
  • Maintain brand consistency and quality across every touchpoint
  • Mentor and develop a junior designer while improving workflows and processes
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate work while keeping human judgment at the center

What You Bring
You might be a great fit if you:
  • Have 10–15 years of experience in sales and marketing for a membership or subscription business
  • Have a track record of hitting growth and revenue targets
  • Are fluent in multi‑channel marketing (paid + organic) and campaign optimization
  • Have hands‑on experience with Customer.io or similar platforms (Iterable, Braze, HubSpot)
  • Are comfortable using AI tools to enhance creative and analytical workflows
  • Know your way around Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SEO fundamentals
  • Enjoy leading, mentoring, and growing creative teammates
  • Communicate clearly, prioritize well, and stay solutions‑focused
  • Care deeply about customer experience and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Have climbing experience or a genuine interest in the climbing community (strongly preferred)
