Position Description
The City of Inver Grove Heights is seeking an energetic Zumba Fitness Instructor to lead fun, high-energy classes at our Community Center. This role focuses on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where participants of all fitness levels feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to move.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lead fun, easy-to-follow, and engaging fitness classes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with participants
  • Demonstrates responsible judgment and ability to follow directions
  • Maintains positive relationships with coworkers and the public
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check

Certifications Required:
  • Group Fitness Instructor Certification (ACE, AFAA, NETA, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Current Zumba Instructor certification (Zumba, Zumba Gold, and/or Zumba Kids)

The City provides Paid Time Off (PTO) as required to comply with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law. City employees are also required to participate in the Minnesota Public Employment Retirement Association (PERA), unless otherwise exempted. No other City benefits are provided unless mandated.
