Job description

At Girls Empowerment Network we strive to inspire girls to think creatively and critically about their futures by giving them a glimpse into the working world. That's where you come in! We are looking for dynamic and engaging professionals to participate in Power Chats on Tuesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 5. When you register, youโ€™ll have the ability to choose the region, school location, date, and time of day that works best for you to participate in Power Chats.โ€ฏ

What exactly are Power Chats? Theyโ€™re a structured discussion activity which allows youth and adult volunteers to connect in smaller groups, ask questions, talk about their interests, and share career insight. Girls get the chance to ask questions such as: what's your career?; what makes you feel confident?; what does leadership mean to you?; what insight would you share with your 6th grade self?; and what makes you feel powerful?โ€ฏ

โ€ฏAfter you register using this form, weโ€™ll reach out one week prior to your selected Power Chats date to e-introduce you to the Girls Empowerment Network staff member leading Power Chats. You'll also receive detailed location information and a Power Chats training handout reviewing what to expect and best practices for engaging with girls.โ€ฏ

Please complete this registration form its entirety to signal your commitment to volunteering with Radiant G Circle Power Chats! Registration will close on Monday, February 23 at 9AM.
