Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 7 years of experience in Quality Manufacturing

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Aerospace manufacturing
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

 Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs Customer Purchase Order/Contract Reviews to identify quality requirements for impact into the manufacturing system and works with site team to verify compliance to requirements. 
  • Interfaces and/or works closely with other departments on procedural issues related to the control of product quality.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of quality related policies and procedures based on corporate and government/customer requirements, as well as in conjunction with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
  • Leads Material Review Board activities, failure analysis and corrective action investigations, and assists in the timely dispositioning and processing of nonconforming material.
  • Identifies and leads implementation of process improvements on assigned program(s) or product area(s) to minimize or eliminate product deficiencies and nonconformances.
  • Leads both customer and supplier facing quality functions, relative to quality performance, investigations, audits and corrective actions.
  • Prepares periodic and special reports on quality statistics and other related quality issued on assigned program(s) or product area(s).
  • Coordinates customer source inspection and/or performs Designated Source Quality Representative functions for various customers, where applicable.
  • Responds to customer Corrective Action Requests in a timely manner, by investigating and determining root cause and corrective/preventive measures to eliminate deficiencies.  Leads cross-functional team efforts to identify, resolve issues and monitor nonconformance trends.
  • Performs internal audits/surveys, where applicable, to assure compliance to specific quality/customer requirements.
  • Participate actively in the NADCAP and AS9100 audit preparation.
  • Audits and validates Statistical Process Control data and procedures for assigned program(s) or product area(s).
  • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
