Job description

Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) is growing! TFCU's newest Broken Arrow South branch is searching for candidates to fill multiple part-time Teller positions! As a Teller, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing a wide variety of TFCU Services to members
  • Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by various delivery methods
  • Providing guidance to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions
  • Serving as the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance as a needed, while following all standard operating procedures

Salary Range:

This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday flexible within the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., along with rotating Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Approximately 25 hours per week. Specific shift times within these hours will be determined and communicated upon hire.

Education/Experience:

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent which is required and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.

  • Previous Bank Teller experience from a bank or credit union is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
  • Complete regulations training
  • TFCU University certification required and completed

In order to be successful as a Teller you must possess these qualifications:

  • Must be willing to travel to the Oklahoma City metro area for various training classes and in-branch training opportunities as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to various TFCU locations as needed.
  • A passion for assisting customers with integrity and working with cash
  • An excellent communicator who likes working on a team as well as someone who has analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability skills to tackle any challenge and the aptitude to take initiative
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures as well as knowledge of TFCU products and services
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to work multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations as well as knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards
  • Symitar navigation, NCR/Enterprise systems, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg J, Deluxe, Home Branch Messaging, MoneyGram, InfoImage, Co-Op locator, Synergy, QuickAssist, and Reg E Monetary Instrument log
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment
