We are looking for an Operations Associate I to join our Chattanooga Team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:

  • Manufacture medical device balloons per specifications
  • Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.)
  • Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities
  • Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities
  • Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently
  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc.
  • Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions
  • Communicate problems to supervisor or lead
  • Seek clarity from supervisor or lead when needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 0-2 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player
  • This position requires significant standing and walking on an ongoing basis. The balloon operator must have the ability to sit and stand, and use arms, hands, and fingers to perform duties.
  • This position requires operators to be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected
