Job description

With 90 years of experience in the uniform and textile garment rental industries, Prudential Overall Supply takes pride in knowing we are a leader in our industry. Prudential Overall Supply is looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Technician. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for Document Control and Quality Assurance functions in a uniform laundry service provider facility.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Use of analytical tools (i.e.: calculator, etc).
  • Ability to schedule daily workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Communicate with customers during visits or audits.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Must be able to write reports, document and maintain data in the computer.
  • Assists corporate Quality Assurance in the performance of Internal Audits of the Quality Management System.
  • Assists corporate Quality Assurance during customer and third party audits.
  • Coaches and trains other plant employees.
  • Assist in the implementation of Quality System throughout the Distribution Center.
  • Investigates non-conformance's and corrective actions. Perform root cause analyses and corrective actions as needed for product excursions.
  • Attends monthly plant management reviews, risk management meetings, CAPA meetings, and supplier non-conformance report meetings.

Requirements:

Successful candidates should have skills as well as hands on experience in the following:

  • Customer Service
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
  • Must have Either Quality Assurance Experience OR Minimum of AA Degree or completion of technical or vocational program with college or university coursework in programs
  • Basic computer Skills
  • Military-experienced candidates are highly encouraged to apply
