The Senior Manager, Product Development -Home will help shape the future of Walmart Brands by developing trend-right, style-led products that deliver exceptional quality and value for millions of customers.
Working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, Quality, Packaging, Brand, and supplier partners, this leader will identify market opportunities, translate consumer and design trends into commercially successful products, and build differentiated assortments that elevate customer experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep Home product development with technical knowledge, design acumen, and strategic leadership. They will establish product roadmaps, champion material & construction, while balancing style, quality, cost, speed to market, and customer value.

Our Product Development team integrates customer insight, creativity, technical expertise, and business strategy to deliver innovative products. Collaborating with cross-functional partners and supplier networks, the team drives initiatives that impact a wide range of categories. Focused on turning insights into products that reach millions of homes, the team emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and action. They continuously elevate standards for product quality and customer experience, ensuring alignment and timely delivery through effective project management and cross-functional communication. This team plays a vital role in shaping products that provide exceptional value to customers.
What you'll do:
  • Lead product development across one or more key Home categories, including soft home textiles, tabletop, furniture, décor, storage, organization, appliances, and related home furnishings.
  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and brand positioning.
  • Partner closely with Design to elevate product aesthetics, materials, finishes, construction, functionality, and overall customer appeal.
  • Champion product innovation to improve quality, craftsmanship, performance, and value.
  • Apply technical expertise to develop robust product specifications, reduce development iterations & accelerate speed to market.
  • Drive continuous improvement across product development processes, tools, and technical capabilities.
  • Influence cross-functional partners through compelling product presentations & data-driven recommendations.

What you'll bring:
  • 4–6+ years of product development experience within Home, with deep expertise in one or more categories such as soft home textiles, tabletop, furniture, décor, appliances, storage, or home organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer and design trends into commercially successful products that deliver style, quality, functionality, and value.
  • Strong technical understanding of materials, construction methods, manufacturing processes, and commercialization.
  • Experience developing private brand and/or national brand consumer products, ideally across multiple Home categories.
  • Strong ability to analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitive products to identify opportunities and develop differentiated assortments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, presentation, and project management skills.
