Job description

Join Our Growing Interiors Team Delivering Seamless Installations
Phoenix Textile Corporation has been a trusted supplier to healthcare, institutional, and government customers since 1983. We are a privately held company headquartered in the St. Louis region. Phoenix Interiors is a dedicated division delivering interior furnishings and installation services to customers across a range of facility types.
Position Summary
The Installation Project Manager owns the installation process end to end, from pre-sale field work through project completion, ensuring a seamless, stress-free installation experience for both the sales team and the end customer. This scope begins before the sale-any field visit or field measure falls under this service-and continues through installation completion. While the sales professional who owns the account remains the customer's primary relationship contact, the Installation Project Manager is accountable for everything installation-related-coordinating across customers, sales, operations, field installation crews, and vendor partners.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the installation process from initial field engagement through installation completion, routing communication through the customer, sales, and other stakeholders as the project requires. • Proactively communicate project installation timelines, milestones, and any changes to sales and project stakeholders. • Anticipate customer needs and address concerns before they escalate. • Conduct post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. • Serve as the single point of contact for all installation and warehouse vendor partners, engaging only those that meet PTC's standards for quality. • Develop and onboard installer partners in emerging markets where PTC sales activity is growing. • Coordinate and support pre-sale field visits and field measurements to ensure accurate quoting and installation planning. • Coordinate scheduling of installations around facility operations. • Liaise between PTC customers, installation crews, vendors, and internal sales teams to keep projects on track. • Manage and distribute installation documentation including work orders, delivery confirmations, and punch lists.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in installation management, project management, or operations, preferably within commercial interiors, FF&E, furniture, flooring, or a related construction or build-out environment. • Demonstrated experience sourcing, qualifying, and managing a network of vendors or subcontractors to defined quality standards. • Proven ability to own projects end to end and to set and hold clear expectations with customers and internal stakeholders, including declining requests the company cannot support. • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience building, leading, or scaling a service or operations team preferred. • Experience working with or within healthcare environments (acute care, senior living, or similar) preferred. • Familiarity with interior furnishings, flooring, or related products preferred.
Benefits
  • Four-tier health insurance plans including an HSA option • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Short-Term Disability Insurance • Long-Term Disability Insurance • Group Term Life Insurance • Voluntary Life Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan with a company match equal to 25% of the first 10% of employee deferrals and profit sharing • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program • Casual dress work environment • Opportunity to be part of an upbeat, supportive and high-performing team • Career growth and professional development opportunities
