What is a textbook assistant?

Textbook Assistants are professionals who help manage, organize, and distribute educational textbooks within schools, colleges, or universities. Their responsibilities may include cataloging inventory, processing book loans and returns, assisting students and faculty with textbook-related queries, and maintaining records of textbook usage. They often work closely with librarians, teachers, and administrative staff to ensure that students have timely access to the required learning materials. In some contexts, Textbook Assistants may also help with the ordering and receiving of new textbooks, as well as handling damaged or outdated materials.
