Top Central Texas Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Collections Manager to assist our Loss Mitigation team onsite at our Temple, TX headquarters.

As an Assistant Collections Manager, you will:

  • Provide support to theDepartmentManager in ensuring organizational goals are met.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities in a Credit Union Facility with a staff of less than 10 employees. Our Collections team acts as a small Call Center environment to provide support to members via phone, email, as well as support to our branches.
  • Apply Credit Union strategies to ensure effective implementation of sales and service culture.
  • Ensure team membersare trained in all department functions.
  • Complete monthly reporting,coaching,and develop staff to enable them to reach their full potential.

  • Has a college degree -or -2-5 years of similar or related experience in the Collections field, including training and/or supervision of others (required).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Has stable job history (we like to see candidates who have been with previous employers for 2+ years or more).
  • Can meet multiple deadlines while managing heavy workloads.
  • Loves training and developing others to reach their full potential.
  • Is a thoughtful and caring leader capable of inspiring staff members to do their best.
  • Is a good communicator, and someone who enjoys collaboration.
  • Adheres to the highest ethical standards, and someone who exhibits professional conduct all the time.
