SUMMARY:
The Relationship Banker is the face of TexasBank, responsible for delivering exceptional service, developing long-term customer relationships, and supporting all branch functions. This role combines sales, service, and operational support to meet customer needs and contribute to overall branch success.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending tailored solutions.
- Achieve branch goals by identifying customer needs and promoting appropriate TexasBank products and services.
- Educate customers on consumer banking products and digital solutions such as online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs to enhance convenience and engagement.
- Refer customers to internal experts when more complex financial goals or specialized services are identified.
- Answer customer inquiries, fulfill basic service requests (e.g., new/replacement cards, PIN resets, address changes), and resolve common banking issues.
- Provide consistent, accurate, and professional service while performing teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine financial activities.
- Offer teller support as needed to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all transactions.
- Assist Loan Officers with administrative tasks related to loan processing and may coordinate loan closings, if applicable.
- Support branch operations by assisting team members with customer service and problem resolution needs.
- Follow all bank processes, procedures, and compliance requirements, including applicable laws and regulations.
- Complete duties delegated or assigned by the Branch Manager and help identify and manage operational risks.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives and branch efficiency.

- Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
- Simple grasping and fine manipulation.
- Extended keyboarding.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of retail banking experience.
- Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software.
- Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours, as needed.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
