Testosterone Clinic information

What is a testosterone clinic?

A Testosterone Clinic job typically involves working in a medical facility that specializes in diagnosing and treating low testosterone levels in patients. Roles can vary, including physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Responsibilities may include conducting hormone level tests, prescribing testosterone replacement therapy, educating patients, and monitoring treatment progress. The goal is to help patients manage symptoms of low testosterone, such as fatigue, decreased muscle mass, and reduced libido, through personalized treatment plans.

What are the typical responsibilities and work environment like for professionals at a testosterone clinic?

Professionals working in a testosterone clinic typically conduct patient assessments, administer hormone therapies, interpret lab results, and educate patients on their treatment plans. The work environment is typically outpatient and collaborative, involving daily interactions with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff. You will often have a set schedule, with occasional flexibility required for follow-ups or urgent patient needs. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients as you monitor their progress and adjust therapies, providing a rewarding mix of medical practice and patient-centered care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the testosterone clinic position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a professional within a Testosterone Clinic, expertise in hormone therapy, patient evaluation, and endocrinology—typically supported by a relevant medical or nursing degree and active licensure—is essential. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, hormone administration protocols, and lab testing procedures is crucial. Excellent interpersonal communication, confidentiality, and patient education skills enable providers to build trust and deliver effective care. These competencies ensure safe, compliant, and compassionate treatment tailored to each patient's health needs in a sensitive specialty clinic environment.

Foster real relationships. Advance the cause of men’s health. Lead a team that changes lives.
With more than 90 clinics nationwide and a rapidly growing patient base, Ageless Men’s Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinic Director (PA-C or NP) to lead our Fishers, IN clinic.
At Ageless, we specialize in medically managed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), weight management, skin care, and concierge medicine — helping men look better, feel better, and live better through proactive, personalized care.
This is a unique opportunity for a licensed provider who thrives on both clinical excellence and team leadership, driving growth by delivering exceptional patient experiences, cultivating staff performance, and ensuring operational success.
What You’ll Do
As a Clinic Director, you’ll serve as both a clinical leader and practicing provider, guiding your team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes while overseeing daily operations, compliance, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of clinic operations — patient volume, staffing, training, compliance, and financial performance.
  • Conduct new patient consultations, review medical histories, and perform physical assessments.
  • Order, review, and interpret lab work and diagnostic tests to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and related medications.
  • Oversee administration of weight management treatments (including GLP-1 medications) and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide clinical oversight for nursing staff performing blood draws, IV therapy, and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections.
  • Review and sign off on patient charts, lab results, and EMR documentation.
  • Ensure clinic adherence to all regulatory, safety, and clinical quality standards.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to drive patient satisfaction, retention, and clinic growth through high-quality care and service consistency.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, patient-centered culture.
  • Represent Ageless Men’s Health as the clinical face of the brand in your local market.

Our Ideal Candidate
You’re a confident, relationship-driven clinician who thrives in leadership. You balance patient care excellence with operational insight and enjoy motivating teams to achieve meaningful results.
You’re a great fit if you are:
  • Energetic, proactive, and organized
  • Experienced in leadership, operations, or team management within a clinical setting
  • Skilled at building patient trust and team alignment
  • Proficient in interpreting labs, managing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance
  • Passionate about men’s health, hormone optimization, and wellness medicine
  • Ready to lead a growing clinic with accountability, compassion, and professionalism

Requirements
  • Active PA-C or NP license (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (hormone, weight management, or primary care experience preferred)
  • Leadership or management experience in a clinical or outpatient setting (preferred)
  • Strong EMR and clinical documentation proficiency
  • Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-focused care

Why You’ll Love Working Here
At Ageless Men’s Health, Clinic Directors are empowered to make a measurable impact — leading their teams, improving patient outcomes, and driving clinic growth and success.
We offer:
  • Monday–Friday schedule (no nights, weekends, or on-call)
  • Leadership-driven culture focused on patient connection and operational excellence
  • Competitive compensation with uncapped bonus potential
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Paid time off (PTO), 401(k) plan, Tuition reimbursement and free and discounted clinic services
