    Job Description

    The Global Market Access (GMA) Project Manager is responsible for managing complex regulatory compliance and market access projects for customers seeking to place products in global markets. This role serves as the primary customer contact and project coordinator, ensuring effective communication, timely execution, and successful delivery of regulatory approvals and certifications.

    The ideal candidate possesses exceptional project management skills, outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously. This individual will collaborate closely with customers, regulatory authorities, engineering teams, testing laboratories, and global partners to develop and execute market access strategies that support business objectives and customer expectations.

    Global Market Access (GMA) Project Manager Duties Include but are not Limited to the Following:

    Project Management

    • Lead and manage multiple global regulatory compliance and market access projects from initiation through completion.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
    • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks, delays, and roadblocks.
    • Coordinate project activities across internal departments and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and customer updates.
    • Drive accountability among team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
    • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear action items and follow-up communications.

    Customer Communication & Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Deliver regular project status updates and executive-level summaries.
    • Build strong customer relationships through initiative-taking communication and exceptional service.
    • Manage customer expectations regarding schedules, deliverables, costs, and regulatory requirements.
    • Address escalations professionally and develop solutions to customer concerns.
    • Reduce communication inefficiencies by implementing structured project tracking and documentation processes.

    Global Market Access & Regulatory Support

    • Coordinate market access activities for products seeking approval in global markets.
    • Review product information and identify applicable regulations, standards, and certification requirements.
    • Collaborate with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, laboratories, and in-country representatives as needed.
    • Support certification and approval strategies for wireless, EMC, safety, energy efficiency, telecom, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Track regulatory changes and communicate potential impacts to customers and internal teams.
    • Assist in developing market entry strategies for new products and technologies.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate closely with engineering, laboratory operations, sales, business development, and regulatory teams.
    • Coordinate technical reviews and facilitate resolution of compliance-related challenges.
    • Support quotation reviews and identify additional global market access opportunities.
    • Contribute to process improvements that enhance project execution, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
    Qualifications

    Basic Minimum Education Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with Project Management and/or minimum 3 years of Project Management experience.

    Basic Minimum Work Requirements:

    • Minimum 3-5+ years of project management experience, preferably within regulatory compliance, certification, testing, telecommunications, electronics, consumer products, or related industries.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience pertaining to the telecommunications industry desired.
    • Project management experience required.
    • MS Office knowledge. Knowledge and experience with telecommunications network technologies, protocols, and operations.
    • Strong understanding of product compliance, certification, or regulatory approval processes is preferred.
    • Experience with Global Market Access, regulatory compliance, certification programs, or conformity assessment processes.
    • Knowledge of wireless, EMC, electrical safety, telecom, RF, or product certification requirements.
    • Experience of working with international regulatory agencies and certification bodies.
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

    Additional Information

    Position is full-time working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, and additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance to Plano, TX are encouraged to apply.
