Test Manager

Immediate need for a Test Manager for a position in the IT industry. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Oakton, VA.

Key Responsibilities/Technology Experience:

  • Minimum of 9+ years of experience
  • Telecom Testing Background (MUST)
  • OSS / BSS Testing (MUST)
  • Ability to understand the application, technology and domain and come up with test strategy at a short span
  • Review and finalize on the test plan and strategy
  • Ability to build team based on skillset and project opportunities
  • Ability to assess and communicate the risks in the project and provide mitigation / contingency plan
  • Ability to monitor overall test progress and do defect management
  • Ability to provide inputs to the team on optimizing effort and cost as required by the project
  • Ability to provide insights into automation and performance testing as required by the project
  • Be SPOC for all the testing activities and provide dashboards and reports to all the stakeholders
