We're currently looking for Geotechnical/Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our team! As a Geotechnical/Construction Materials Laboratory Technician, you will have the opportunity for professional growth with ample room for advancement and competitive pay. Candidates with any laboratory experience or education are strongly encouraged to apply.

Geotechnical/Construction Materials Laboratory Technician Qualifications:

  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • A valid New York State driver’s license
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to work independently

Geotechnical/Construction Materials Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

  • Physical testing of various construction materials including concrete, masonry, soil, aggregate, and rock in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO methods.
  • Follow safety standards and procedures
  • Accurately enter test results into electronic report templates
  • Effectively communicate with other laboratory staff and supervisors
