Analytical Lab Technician, Wednesday - Sunday
Entegris is currently seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA.
In this role, you support the analytical services lab and the QA final product testing lab through sample preparation, chemical testing, purifier testing and the generation of reports for internal and external customers. This position will work closely with other team members and departments to ensure that the lab runs efficiently and safely.
*** The work schedule for this position is Wednesday - Sunday, 7am - 3:30pm.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform the UHP cleaning and preparation of laboratory glassware and sampling equipment.
  • Calibrate scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment based on established procedures.
  • Assemble UHP sampling equipment and/or perform UPH testing and gas sampling independently based on established procedures.
  • Receive analytical equipment and prepare samples for analysis.
  • Perform sample analysis based on established procedures.
  • Provide consistent and accurate data from analyses.
  • Effectively multitask across laboratory responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of lab experience in an analytical chemistry environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience in LIMS desirable.
  • Able to multi-task and communicate effectively (both oral and written).
  • Strong personnel team building skills.
  • Ability to work independently following applicable training.
  • Must be willing to work Wednesday through Sunday.
