Laboratory Testing Technician – Clinical Laboratory Operations

A confidential and growing clinical laboratory organization is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Testing Technician to support daily laboratory operations and clinical testing activities. This role is ideal for candidates with laboratory experience who thrive in a fast-paced, high-complexity laboratory environment and are passionate about maintaining quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The Laboratory Testing Technician will assist with sample preparation, reagent management, instrument setup and maintenance, clinical testing procedures, inventory support, and laboratory organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable test results and maintaining compliance with laboratory quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and label laboratory samples, reagents, and materials for testing
  • Perform routine laboratory testing and support daily clinical lab operations
  • Set up, maintain, and monitor laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Receive, organize, store, and manage patient samples
  • Assist with inventory, reagent tracking, and supply management
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, and documentation logs
  • Support quality control procedures and follow laboratory SOPs
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient workflow

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related biological science required

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification preferred but not required

  • Previous laboratory work experience required

  • Experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory preferred

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, sample handling, and clinical testing workflows
