Job Summary:
We are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Pathologist to serve as our part-time Alternate Medical Director. This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal-time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.
  • Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.
  • Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.
  • Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.

Qualifications & Education:
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation.

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Hours: Approximately 2 hours per month total.
  • Flexibility: Work hours are highly flexible. Monthly hours can be scheduled at your convenience during center operational hours to fit your existing medical practice or personal schedule.
