What is a testing associate?

Testing Associates are professionals responsible for evaluating software, products, or systems to ensure they meet specified quality standards and work as intended. They typically execute test cases, document results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Testing Associates may work in various industries, including information technology, pharmaceuticals, or education, depending on the type of testing required. Their role is crucial in delivering reliable and high-quality products to customers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a testing associate?

To thrive as a Testing Associate, you need a strong grasp of quality assurance principles, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail, and knowledge of manual and automated testing processes are typically required.
