The SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing SAP applications with a primary focus on Procurement, Master Data Management, and Field Operations. This role will support SAP MM, SD, PM, and related procurement systems by managing master data, maintaining catalogs, supporting pricing updates, coordinating custom data uploads and serving as a primary contact for procurement and SD system administration and user support.
What You'll Do
• Develop Requirements: Communicate with business operations to understand business needs, gather requirements, and assist in developing functional solutions.
• System Configuration: Assist in the configuration and maintenance of SAP modules to support business requirements.
• End-User Support: Provide first-level support to end-users for SAP-related issues, including procurement processes, and related business functions.
• Master Data Management: Create, maintain, and monitor SAP master data including Material Masters, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists, Vendor Master data, and other procurement-related master data objects.
• Pricing Maintenance: Support purchasing and sales pricing updates, condition record maintenance, and validation of pricing accuracy.
• Catalog Management: Maintain procurement catalogs, item content, and supplier catalog integrations to ensure accurate purchasing information.
• Custom Data Uploads: Execute and validate mass data uploads, custom upload templates, and data conversion activities while ensuring data integrity.
• Procurement System Administration: Serve as a primary point of contact for procurement system support, user inquiries, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to SAP configurations, master data processes, procurement procedures, and user guides.
• Testing: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing for SAP enhancements and projects.
• Data Management: Support data maintenance, data quality initiatives, data migration activities, and governance processes across SAP modules.
• Training: Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users on SAP procurement, master data, and field operation processes.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve basic SAP issues or escalate complex issues to senior functional consultants.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to support integrated business processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and data quality improvements.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
• Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, field operations, or back-office business processes.
• Basic understanding of SAP MM, SD, PM, and procurement-related processes.
• Experience with master data maintenance including Material Masters, Purchasing Info Records, pricing conditions, and catalog management preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP and integration with Finance, HR, and other business systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and business processes.
