Position Overview
The primary function of this position is to support the Lee College Testing Center and Lee College's mission by means of administering many different types of tests that the Testing Center has to offer in a standardized testing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administer a variety of tests: college placement (TSIA), instructor make-up/individualized exams, computerized, distance education, proctored, certification, etc.
  • Assist with different types of reports as needed.
  • Manage Testing Center in the absence of the Testing Specialist and/or Testing Assistant.
  • Maintain test security and confidentiality of student records.
  • Monitor testing materials that come through the Testing Center.
  • Monitor/proctor candidates while testing.
  • Schedule test appointments.
  • Answer phones.
  • Attend training to be a Certified Pearson VUE Test Administrator (which includes the computerized GED).

Additional Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty with test handling.
  • Supervise student workers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Associate's (or higher) degree or successful completion of sixty (60) college credit hours
  • Must be computer literate
  • Able to travel to remote locations to administer placement testing
  • Able to complete formal training required to Pearson VUE/GED and/or for other certification exams
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work evening and weekends when needed
