Job description

As a Medical Assistant, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a healthcare setting. Reporting to the healthcare provider, your responsibilities will include medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems. Duties:

- Must have the ability to perform blood draws, EKG, injections and x-rays

- Court ordered drug testing
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer medications and vaccines under the supervision of a healthcare provider
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Provide patient education on medication, procedures, and follow-up care
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care

- Monday- Saturday, closed Wednesday. 8am-4pm

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent training
- Certification as a medical assistant

- Certification in phlebotomy
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
