What you will be doing?
In this role, the Test Engineer will be responsible to support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission. Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Generate test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality. Perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner. Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, and provide analysis of test procedures.
Specific Skills Needed to perform well in this role
  • Strong Python experience
  • Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets
  • Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds
  • Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures
  • Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
  • Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods
  • Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts
  • Must work effectively independently and with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What will you need for this job? Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Years Experience / Degree:
    • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience maybe substituted for a bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems
