Job description

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Monitor Tech for 7p. A Monitor Tech, under the supervision of the Director or Charge Nurse, must be able to recognize, evaluate and competently interpret normal and abnormal cardiac (EKG) rhythms. The monitor tech will provide immediate notification to the nursing staff of any changes in patient cardiac rhythms. The monitor tech will also perform some clerical duties while functioning as monitor/telemetry tech to assist the nursing staff in maintaining quality nursing care, as well as being a communication source between ICU, PCU and patients' families in the waiting room. Must be able to pass in-depth competency test over cardiac rhythms.
