Job description

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment and liquid cooling systems. We deliver innovative, energy-efficient solutions for industries such as hyperscale data centers, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical labs, semiconductor clean rooms, EV battery manufacturers, and life sciences facilities. We are expanding rapidly, with two new state-of-the-art production facilities in Mesa, Arizona launching in 2025. This growth reflects our commitment to advancing sustainable infrastructure solutions that support the AI revolution and other critical industries.

As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced Test Lab Technician to support HVAC development programs by installing, calibrating, measuring, and recording data to ensure instruments and equipment meet established standards. The role also includes performing standard tests, electromechanical repairs, electronic measurements, and analyzing results to support research, development, and product quality initiatives.

An overview of your responsibilities!
  • Conduct tests on HVAC products in accordance with company standards and development programs requirements.
  • Prepare and set up standard and specialized laboratory instrumentation for product evaluation.
  • Perform performance, functional, calibration, and environmental tests on systems and components.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and modify systems to support research and development projects.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing tools and laboratory instruments.
  • Perform electromechanical repairs as required.
  • Troubleshoot failed test components or equipment, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Clearly document and communicate test findings to the engineering team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry and company testing standards.
Qualifications!
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in engineering technology, electrical, electronic, mechanical, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC equipment testing/operation or electromechanical testing methods.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for components and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
