The Vacancy

Job Summary

The Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test processes to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. This role supports both new product validation and ongoing product lifecycle testing, including periodic requalification of existing products. The Test Engineer works cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to identify issues, improve processes, and ensure consistent product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for new and existing products
  • Perform functional, performance, and environmental testing to validate product requirements
  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and document results in clear and concise reports
  • Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate on corrective actions
  • Support product development through design verification and validation activities
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality guidelines
  • Partner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes, results, and procedures
  • Support audits and reviews by providing test data and documentation as needed
  • Conduct ongoing product requalification activities, completing scheduled requalification testing for existing products (approximately one product per month) to ensure continued performance and compliance
