Test Engineer Co-Op
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Type: Winter/Spring Co-Op begining January 2027

Skyworks is seeking a Winter/Spring Test Engineer Co-Op to join the Audio and Gaming Mixed-Signal and RF Test Engineering team. In this role, you will support hardware and software solutions helping develop ATE test solutions for mixed-signal products serving the Audio and Gaming market. The primary goal of this position is designing, developing, and implementing test procedures in automatic test equipment (ATE) to support our volume and cost goals.  This includes developing tests solutions focused on probe, package, and characterization testing.  As a Test Engineering Co-Op, you will develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for highly integrated Mixed-Signal products. This role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of next-generation Audio and Wireless products through robust test strategies and seamless deployment to global manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities
  • Development of Audio and Wireless IC ATE test solutions for NPI and high volume manufacturing.
  • Execute test strategies for improvements of yield, test coverage, quality, test platform conversions and test cost.
  • Ensure successful and efficient transfer of test solutions to manufacturing sites and subcontractors.
  • Act as the interface between internal engineering teams and external vendors. 
Required Experience and Skills
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, Physics, CE or closely related field
  • Experience in developing high volume package and wafer probe solutions using ATE platforms.
  • Knowledge  of analog, digital,  statistics, software and semiconductor fundamentals.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Experience and Skills
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry
  • Programming proficiency in  C++, C#,,Java, Python, VB, Java

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
