Kymeta Corporation is revolutionizing satellite communications through Intelligent Communications Platforms. They are seeking an exceptional Automation Test Engineer II to develop and execute acceptance test procedures and test strategies for next-generation products and production systems.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality automated test solutions and supporting software, and visual aids for manufacturing and production environments.
• Design, implement, and execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) using the Kymeta Test Framework and reusable toolsets.
• Define test strategies, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., systems, hardware, software, and product) throughout the development lifecycle.
• Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and robust test solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and track defects using defect management systems; drive root cause analysis and verify corrective actions.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide clear, actionable test reports and recommendations.
• Review and assess system and software requirements for completeness, clarity, and testability.
• Train test technicians.

• 1+ year of experience with scripting languages such as Batch/PowerShell and Bash.
• 1+ year of experience in application performance profiling and characterization.
• Proven track record of delivering and releasing production-ready test solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics)
Preferred:
• Practical knowledge of antenna and satellite communication systems.

• Familiarity with electrical engineering fundamentals for board bring-up (e.g., schematic interpretation, timing analysis).
